The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has commemorated Enver Maloku, activist and head of the Kosovo Information Center, marking the 27th anniversary of his assassination.
President Osmani said that Maloku believed deeply in the power of words, dialogue, and the Rugova-inspired vision of freedom—a vision of a free, democratic Kosovo oriented toward the West.
“He was the voice of wisdom and dignity during the most difficult times for Kosovo, an architect of political communication who carried our truth beyond our borders,” Osmani stated.
The Head of State emphasized that Maloku served his country with integrity and dedication, leaving a profound mark on Kosovo’s state-building path.
President Osmani also underlined that the murder of Enver Maloku remains a crime for which justice has yet to be served.
“Bringing those responsible before justice remains an obligation of our institutions and a debt owed to the voice of our truth. Glory to the life and work of Enver Maloku,” she declared.
