The Municipal Directorate of Education in Fushë Kosovë has announced that the start of the second semester in all pre-university education institutions in the municipality has been postponed by one week.
According to the official announcement, the decision was taken based on the current situation in the territory of the Municipality of Fushë Kosovë, caused by severe weather conditions and continuous rainfall, which have led to flooding in many neighborhoods and villages. In addition, serious difficulties in ensuring heating in several educational institutions, as well as low temperatures, were taken into account.
Municipal authorities assessed that minimum conditions for the normal development of the teaching process have not been met, therefore deciding that the second semester will begin on January 19 in all schools of the Municipality of Fushë Kosovë.
This decision was made with the aim of ensuring the safety of students and educational staff, as well as guaranteeing the proper continuation of the teaching process.
The Municipal Directorate of Education has requested school managements to inform teaching staff and parents in a timely manner about this decision, while any additional information will be communicated through official channels.
