The Basic Court in Prishtina has decided to extend the pre-trial detention of Ramadan Morina, who is accused of war crimes against the civilian population.
The request to extend the detention was submitted by the Special Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kosovo (SPRK) and was approved on December 31, 2025.
According to the court spokesperson, Mirlinda Gashi, the pre-trial judge, after reviewing the request, ruled that the detention be extended for two months, based on a well-founded suspicion that Morina committed the alleged criminal acts.
