Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has paid an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, describing the reception in Abu Dhabi as “brotherly”.
The visit was at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Rama confirmed through a post on social media, where he also shared images from the meeting.
According to Rama, the purpose of the visit is to discuss joint projects within the framework of the Sustainable Development Week, an international forum that brings together heads of state and government, business leaders, and civil society representatives to address global challenges and perspectives on sustainable development.
“Abu Dhabi – as always, a brotherly welcome in the United Arab Emirates, this time at the invitation of President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to discuss joint projects during Sustainable Development Week,” Rama wrote.
The visit underscores the strengthening of bilateral relations between Albania and the UAE, particularly in areas related to sustainable development, investment, and long-term cooperation.
