Kosovo spent a total of €259 million on electricity imports in 2025.
This places electricity as the third most imported product in the country, after vehicles (€651 million) and derivatives (€560 million), according to data from the Kosovo Customs.
On the other hand, electricity exports reached a value of €55 million. This indicates that Kosovo imported roughly 4.7 times more electricity than it managed to export, resulting in a trade deficit of approximately €204 million in this sector alone.
