The Mayor of Malishevë, Ekrem Kastrati, met with Nuno Quieros, the representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Kosovo, to discuss ongoing cooperation and explore opportunities to deepen the partnership in projects of interest to the citizens.
During the meeting, the priorities of the municipality were addressed, including local development, good governance, transparency, citizen engagement, and sustainable development.
Mayor Kastrati expressed gratitude for UNDP’s support in concrete projects and emphasized the municipality’s willingness to advance collaboration in initiatives that directly improve the quality of life for residents.
UNDP Representative Nuno Quieros highlighted the municipality’s institutional commitment and confirmed the organization’s readiness to continue joint projects, focusing on local economic development, institutional capacity building, and the implementation of sustainable practices. Both parties agreed to intensify cooperation in the coming period through concrete projects and regular inter-institutional coordination.
