The 17-year-old who had been reported missing in Gjilan has been found, the Kosovo Police announced on Friday evening, just hours after requesting public assistance in locating him.
According to the police statement, following operational actions and the engagement of relevant police units, as well as strong cooperation from citizens and the media, the minor was located in good health.
The teenager is currently at Kosovo Police premises, where the necessary legal procedures are being carried out in accordance with applicable legislation.
The Gjilan Regional Police Directorate expressed its gratitude to citizens and media outlets for their cooperation, information sharing, and support throughout the search process, highlighting the crucial role public engagement played in resolving the case.
