The official visit of the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, to the Iowa National Guard in the United States has concluded.
The visit reaffirmed the strategic partnership between the KSF and the Iowa National Guard, as well as the continued support for the development and professionalization of the KSF.
On this occasion, Major General Stephen E. Osborn emphasized that for 15 years, Iowa’s soldiers and airmen have worked side by side with the KSF, contributing to the development of a territorial defense force interoperable with NATO.
“For the past 15 years, soldiers and airmen have worked shoulder to shoulder with the Kosovo Security Force, building trust and mutual understanding. Together, we have supported the KSF on its path toward becoming a NATO-interoperable territorial defense force,” he said in his remarks.
