Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that he received a personal invitation from the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, to represent Albania in a new international organization called the “Peace Board.”
According to Rama, the structure was conceived by President Trump himself and will be chaired by him, with Albania invited to join as a founding member.
The Albanian Prime Minister described the invitation as a significant achievement for the country and as evidence of the international role and respect Albania has gained in recent years.
“I could not be prouder of Albania, of everything we have done over these years by turning it into a different Albania—dignified and respected worldwide as never before,” Rama said in his reaction.
He further emphasized that this invitation reflects the high level of strategic relations between Albania and the United States, describing the recognition by President Trump as “truly special.”
Full post by Prime Minister Rama:
“I am deeply honored by the personal invitation of President Trump to represent Albania on the Peace Board, a new international organization conceived by him, where Albania is invited as a founding member—thus reaching internationally another peak that would have been completely unimaginable just a few years ago.
I could not be prouder of Albania, of everything we have done in these years by transforming it into a different Albania, dignified and respected worldwide as never before, and undoubtedly also of the level to which we have elevated our strategic partnership with the United States of America, being invited with truly special respect and appreciation by President Donald J. Trump to become part of an international board created and chaired by him, and to work together with him.
Thank you Mr. President
God bless Albania and the United States.”
