Tirana Police have successfully concluded two phases of the operation code-named “Operacionalja”, resulting in the arrest of two individuals wanted internationally by UNMIK for involvement in human trafficking.
The arrested individuals, R. B. and G. H., residents of Tirana, were issued international arrest warrants by UNMIK on January 13, 2026, for participation in or organization of a structured criminal group in the field of human trafficking, as defined under Kosovo’s Criminal Code.
The arrests were made with the intent of extradition to Kosovo, and authorities confirmed that the extradition process is ongoing.
