Kosovo National Guard Trains Cadets for Winter Survival Skills

At the International Training Center for Search and Rescue of the Kosovo National Guard (Garda Kombëtare), cadets from the Center for University Studies participated in a Winter Survival Training program.

According to the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), participants received instruction in rope work, rappelling, technical climbing, first aid, and emergency situation management. They also carried out practical survival exercises in the field, including shelter building, terrain orientation, fire starting, and securing essential resources.

Despite harsh winter conditions, participants demonstrated discipline, dedication, and high physical and mental resilience, strengthening their readiness for effective intervention in real operations,” the FSK statement said.
