The Council of Ministers of Albania has decided to submit to the Albanian Parliament for review and approval the draft law “On the Ratification of the Agreement on the Accession of the Republic of Albania to the Charter of the Peace Board,” using an expedited procedure.

According to the government’s decision, the agreement will be ratified with representation by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

This step formalizes Albania’s participation in the Peace Board, strengthening the country’s commitment to promoting international stability and cooperation.

Rama has accepted the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump to become a founding member of the Peace Board for Gaza, but stated that the invitation will first be submitted to the Albanian Parliament for approval.
