The Ambassador of Finland to Kosovo, Eevamari Laaksonen, met on Thursday with Taulant Hodaj, the Honorary Consul General of the Kingdom of Norway in Kosovo, to discuss the strengthening of Nordic cooperation in the country.

According to an official statement from the Finnish Embassy, the meeting focused on the Nordic Council of Ministers’ project in Kosovo, under which Finland, Norway, and Sweden are jointly engaged in initiatives aimed at enhancing digital resilience, promoting media literacy, and combating disinformation.

The project reflects the shared commitment of Nordic countries to democratic values, transparent information, and institutional resilience, particularly in supporting Kosovo’s efforts to address digital challenges and misinformation threats.

The embassy emphasized that Nordic cooperation remains a key pillar of support for Kosovo, especially in areas related to education, media freedom, and digital security, which are increasingly important in today’s information environment.
