The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, today held an official meeting with Carol Whitmore, National Commander of the U.S. Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), and Ryan Galluci, Executive Director of the VFW Washington Office.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the excellent cooperation between the Kosovo Security Force and the United States Army, with particular emphasis on the partnership with the Iowa National Guard, as well as on U.S. support in strengthening FSK capabilities and capacities, including interoperability with strategic partners.
General Jashari highlighted the important role of the VFW organization in supporting members of the U.S. Armed Forces and expressed his gratitude for the organization’s dedication and respect toward veterans who have served in various conflicts, including Kosovo.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to further deepen cooperation and reaffirmed the VFW’s readiness to continue supporting the Kosovo Security Force in this area.
