Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, accompanied by his wife Linda Rama, was welcomed with an official ceremony at the Israeli Parliament (Knesset) by its Speaker, Amir Ohana, during his official visit to Israel.
Following the ceremony, Prime Minister Rama signed the Parliament’s guest book, expressing his appreciation and honor at being received in what he described as a “legendary house.”
“I cannot imagine a greater honor or a more meaningful blessing than leaving this note on this page as a special guest in this legendary house. Thank you,” Rama wrote.
During his visit, Rama is expected to deliver a speech at the Knesset, alongside addresses by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and opposition leader Yair Lapid.
Earlier on Monday, Prime Minister Rama also held a joint press conference with Prime Minister Netanyahu, underscoring the strengthening of bilateral relations between Albania and Israel.
