Members of the Serbian List left the Assembly hall during the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Kosovo, highlighting continued political tensions despite the formation of the new government and their earlier oath as Members of Parliament.

The move is widely viewed as a sign that representatives of the Serbian List may not take a constructive role during the newly formed government’s mandate, raising concerns about cooperation within Kosovo’s legislative institutions.

Kurti Officially Sworn In as Prime Minister

Following the anthem, Albin Kurti formally took the oath of office as Prime Minister of Kosovo, marking the official start of the Kurti 3 Government, which was approved earlier with 66 votes in favor, 49 against, and no abstentions.

Assembly Session Officially Concludes

The parliamentary session concluded shortly afterward, with Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu officially announcing the closure of proceedings, finalizing the constitutional process of establishing Kosovo’s new executive leadership.

The development signals the beginning of a new governing term, though political divisions between majority institutions and Serbian List representatives remain evident.
