Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Riho Terras, who serves as the EU’s rapporteur for Kosovo, has congratulated Prime Minister Albin Kurti on the formation of the new government.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Terras stated that “the political paralysis has finally ended” and emphasized Kosovo’s European perspective.
He said: “Congratulations to Albin Kurti and Kosovo on the formation of a new government. A functional government is essential to advance the path toward the European Union and to unlock much-needed financial support. Kosovo belongs to the EU family.”
Terras’s remarks underscore the European Union’s support for Kosovo’s stability and integration efforts, highlighting the importance of political continuity in advancing reforms and securing international assistance.
