Acting President of Kosovo Albulena Haxhiu has received the credentials of France’s newly appointed ambassador to Kosovo, Jean-François Huchet, during a meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations.
Haxhiu welcomed Ambassador Huchet to Kosovo and wished him success in his diplomatic mission, expressing confidence that his tenure would further deepen relations between the two countries.
“Kosovo highly values France’s friendship and support, both during the war and throughout the years of state-building. Today, our relations are based on broad cooperation in the political, economic, security, education and cultural fields,” Haxhiu said.
The two sides also discussed opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation, particularly following recent agreements between Kosovo and France that are expected to create new avenues for collaboration.
Haxhiu assured Huchet of her full cooperation in further strengthening the partnership between Kosovo and France.
“I wished Ambassador Huchet a successful mandate and assured him of my full cooperation in further strengthening the partnership between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of France,” Haxhiu said.
The meeting comes as Kosovo and France continue to develop cooperation across political, economic and security fields, alongside broader ties in education and culture.
