President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has announced that the Sultanate of Brunei has officially lifted visa requirements for Kosovo citizens.

Today, together with His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei, Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, we signed the visa waiver agreement between Kosovo and Brunei, a meaningful step toward deepening cooperation and strengthening the bonds between our two nations,” Osmani shared in a post on Facebook.

She emphasized that this agreement is not merely a technical facilitation, but rather a bridge of friendship built on mutual respect and trust.

President Osmani is currently on an official state visit to Brunei, which marks a significant milestone in Kosovo’s expanding diplomatic presence in Asia and its ongoing pursuit of broader international recognition and mobility for its citizens.
