The Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kosovo, Blerim Isufaj, hosted a farewell meeting with the Head of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), Giovanni Pietro Barbano.
During the meeting, Isufaj expressed his appreciation for the close cooperation and support that EULEX has provided to the Special Prosecution Office over the years, highlighting the mission’s contribution to strengthening the rule of law and justice institutions in Kosovo.
For his part, Barbano praised the cooperation developed with the Special Prosecution Office and reaffirmed EULEX’s commitment to continuing its support for Kosovo’s justice institutions in line with the mission’s mandate and objectives.
The meeting served as an opportunity to reflect on the longstanding partnership between the Special Prosecution Office and EULEX, as well as their shared efforts to advance the rule of law and enhance the effectiveness of Kosovo’s judicial system.
