The Director General of the Albanian State Police, Skender Hita, has paid an official visit to the Kosovo Police.
Senior Director Skender Hita thanked the leadership of the Kosovo Police for the hospitality and reaffirmed the readiness of the Albanian State Police to further deepen cooperation with the Kosovo Police in all areas of mutual interest.
“Crime today is more organised, more sophisticated, and without borders. For this reason, our response must also be faster, more coordinated, and stronger. Albania and Kosovo have built a model partnership between our two police forces, and this cooperation will continue to strengthen in the service of the security of our citizens,” Director Hita stated.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the strategic priorities of the two institutions, current security challenges, and the need to further increase cooperation in the fight against organised crime, cross-border crime, and other phenomena that threaten regional security, according to the Albanian Police.
“Both directors assessed the cooperation so far in the exchange of information, investigations, and joint police operations, as well as in border security management,” the statement said.
