The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has refused to comment on the ongoing investigation into the terrorist attack on the Ibër-Lepenc canal in northern Kosovo. When asked by Gazeta Nacionale whether they could share any findings or confirm concrete evidence regarding the attack, the FBI responded briefly: “We do not comment.”

Kosovo authorities have linked the attack to Milan Radoičić, the notorious leader of the Banjska terrorist group, claiming that he received logistical support from Serbian state services.

Previously, former U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo Jeff Hovenier confirmed that the FBI was assisting Kosovo authorities in the investigation. However, former U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill, speaking on behalf of the FBI, stated that no evidence had been found implicating Serbia in the incident.

Despite the FBI’s involvement, their silence leaves key questions unanswered as Kosovo’s government continues to point to Serbia’s alleged role in the attack.
