Germany remains committed to supporting Kosovo on its path toward European integration, German Ambassador Rainer Rudolph told members of the Kosovo Assembly’s Committee on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora.
Speaking during a discussion on Kosovo’s European aspirations and ways to strengthen bilateral relations, Rudolph reaffirmed Germany’s “unwavering support” for the country’s European agenda and encouraged committee members to move forward with the necessary work at full speed.
“With fully mandated institutions and no blockades, now is the time to create the conditions for sustainable progress. Kosovo can count on Germany’s continued support,” Rudolph said.
The ambassador’s remarks come as Kosovo faces the task of advancing its European integration agenda and strengthening cooperation with key EU member states.
He emphasized that fully functioning institutions and the removal of political obstacles are important conditions for making progress toward Kosovo’s European aspirations.
