The Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has stated that his party is ready to vote on the Report for the Verification of MPs’ Mandates, but this will depend on the stance of PDK and LDK. According to him, AAK will not act separately from these parties in the vote and will act in coordination with them.
Haradinaj emphasized that a major obstacle to continuing the procedure is a new law approved by Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s government, which requires government officials to resign before taking the oath—something Haradinaj considers a legal violation. He added that the issue will be further reviewed with fellow MPs and other parties, but the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo will remain united and vote as part of the opposition.
Regarding speculation about possible cooperation with the leader of the Social Democratic Initiative (Nisma), Haradinaj said there had only been a brief greeting and denied any further communication.
