The Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute has announced that, with the arrival of the astronomical summer season, Kosovo will be affected by relatively unstable air masses, bringing cloud cover, localized rainfall, and thunderstorms during the first days of the week.
According to the forecast, the expected rainfall will be beneficial for the agricultural sector, as it helps maintain soil moisture and improves agrometeorological conditions for crops.
The Institute noted that biometeorological conditions will generally be favorable for most citizens. However, individuals sensitive to atmospheric changes may experience mild discomfort during periods of higher temperatures and ahead of local storm developments.
The Institute also urged caution regarding ultraviolet radiation, as the UV index is expected to be high during sunny intervals. Citizens are advised to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during midday hours and to take appropriate protective measures.
According to the five-day forecast, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will be characterized by variable weather, including localized rain showers and thunderstorms. From Thursday onward, weather conditions are expected to stabilize, accompanied by a gradual rise in temperatures.
Maximum temperatures are forecast to range between 26°C and 31°C at the beginning of the week, while on Thursday and Friday they are expected to reach 32°C and 33°C, respectively.
Meteorologists predict that the latter part of the workweek will bring mostly stable weather, with sunshine and scattered clouds, creating favorable conditions for outdoor activities.
