According to preliminary results from the October 25 parliamentary elections, the “Albanian Coalition” has secured two seats in Serbia’s Parliament.
Shaip Kamberi of the Party for Democratic Action (PVD) and Visar Mehmeti of the Alternative for Change (APN) are expected to enter the legislative assembly.
The result follows the unification of eight Albanian political parties from Preševo, Bujanovac and Medveđa under a single electoral list.
Citizens from the Preševo Valley who travelled from Kosovo to Serbia to cast their ballots also took part in the electoral process.
