Italian and Croatian soldiers serving in the NATO-led KFOR mission conducted a live-fire exercise at the “Voloire” shooting range near Camp Villaggio Italia, according to an official KFOR announcement.

The troops, part of the Regional Command West (RC-W), took part in the drill to maintain and enhance their marksmanship and combat readiness.

KFOR regularly organizes such exercises to test and improve soldiers’ weapons handling, shooting precision, and overall operational preparedness.

“These drills are crucial to ensuring a high level of readiness and supporting the safety and security of all communities in Kosovo,” KFOR stated.

KFOR continues to operate under its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 (1999), with the mission of ensuring a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement across Kosovo. The force works closely with the Kosovo Police and EULEX, maintaining impartial coordination in response to any security developments.
