Kosovo’s Ministry of Digitalization and Public Administration officially launched its National Cyber Security Training Platform on Monday, specifically engineered to fortify the digital defenses of the country’s civil service against evolving hybrid threats.

The specialized digital platform is aimed at structurally strengthening public administration resilience. Speaking at the launch ceremony in Pristina, the Acting Minister of Digitalization and Public Administration, Lulëzon Jagxhiu, emphasized that safeguarding the state’s digital infrastructure cannot rely on technical personnel alone.

“Cyber security demands an all-of-society approach to effectively ensure the cyber defense of our country,” Jagxhiu stated, underlining that civil servants are often the primary target for phishing and social engineering vectors.

The development of the platform was heavily supported by international partners, notably the Government of Luxembourg. Eric Dietz, the Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of Luxembourg, attended the rollout and reaffirmed his country’s long-term commitment to assisting Kosovo in building a highly secure, resilient, and modernized public administration.

Leart Zogiani, who presented the technical architecture and interface of the new portal, noted that the modules were designed to be highly accessible, interactive, and easy to comprehend for all state employees, regardless of their technical background. The mandatory training curriculum will focus on threat identification, data protection protocols, and secure administrative practices.
