The Central Election Commission (KQZ) of Kosovo is set to approve the official ballot design for the February 9 parliamentary elections during its meeting on Wednesday, January 8.
Spokesperson Valmir Elezi shared that this approval follows the recent draw determining the order of political entities on the ballot.
“After the draw for the order of political entities on the ballot, on January 8, the KQZ will review and approve the design and content of the ballot for the Parliamentary Elections of February 9, 2025,” Elezi stated.
Overseas Voting to Begin
Starting Thursday, January 9, registered voters abroad will be able to cast their votes by mail. This process will provide an early opportunity for the diaspora to participate in shaping Kosovo’s legislative future.
“Once the ballot is approved, the voting process for registered voters outside Kosovo will begin. Additionally, the approved ballot will assist political entities during their campaign efforts,” Elezi added.
The official election campaign kicks off on January 11 and will run until February 7, leading up to election day on February 9.
