MP Mimoza Kusari-Lila of Vetëvendosje stated that they are not aiming to block the formation of institutions, but stressed that constitutional deadlines for constituting the Assembly are nearing their end.
She added that, according to the Constitution, the Assembly must be constituted within 30 days following the certification of the election results meaning the deadline is this Sunday.
“At no point have we aimed to block the formation of institutions. The Constitution of Kosovo stipulates that the Assembly must be constituted within 30 days after the certification of election results. That 30-day period ends on Sunday. It could even happen tomorrow. This situation cannot go on indefinitely. We’re gradually approaching another potential election date,” said Kusari-Lila.
