The voice of renowned Kosovar-Albanian singer Shkurte Fejza will reportedly be featured in the new American film The Journalist Mission, which explores events surrounding the Kosovo War.
According to information shared on social media, the film’s entire screenplay was written under the inspiration and melody of “Mora Fjal,” one of Shkurte Fejza’s best-known songs, Indeksonline reports.
“The entire screenplay of The Journalist Mission was written to the melody of ‘Mora Fjal’ by the great Shkurte Fejza,” the post states.
The reported inclusion marks another moment in which Albanian music and artistic expression become part of an international production, carrying Kosovo’s history, culture and emotions beyond its borders.
