The Champions League wrapped up the Round of 16 matches with three thrilling encounters played on Wednesday evening.

In Paris, PSG hosted Liverpool. The French champions dominated the game with Slot’s men controlling possession, but in the end, it was the English side that celebrated, securing the win with just one shot on target in the 87th minute, thanks to a late goal by Elliot.

With this victory, Liverpool now has an easier task for the return leg at “Anfield,” where Luis Enrique will need to prepare his team for a major comeback.

Barcelona faced Benfica in Lisbon and had a tough time, playing most of the game with one player less after Cubarsi was sent off with a red card. However, Flick’s men managed the match well and won thanks to a goal from Raphinha.

In Munich, Bayern had no problems against Leverkusen in a German derby. Kompany’s team dominated the match, winning 3-0 with goals from Kane and Musiala. They have taken a solid step towards the quarterfinals, while Alonso’s men will need a miracle next week in their home leg.

RESULTS:

PSG 0-1 LIVERPOOL
Elliot 87’

BENFICA 0-1 BARCELONA
Raphinha 61’

BAYERN M. 3-0 BAYER LEVERKUSEN
Kane 9’, (P) 75’, Musiala 54’
