The Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, responding to a journalist’s question regarding the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister for Good Governance Arben Fetai, said that the resignation will be formally processed tomorrow and indicated that discussions on a government reshuffle will take place with coalition partners.
“I have said several times in the past that we have discussed this matter. Fetai submitted his resignation today, and it will be archived tomorrow. As you know, we expect a government reshuffle in June, and we will see how things develop. We will speak with our coalition partners within the government,” Mickoski said.
He added that in his resignation letter, Fetai expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with him as Prime Minister, as well as with other colleagues within the government.
The remarks suggest that changes within the governing coalition may be considered as part of the anticipated cabinet restructuring later this month.
