Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed that he will never allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.

“President Trump and I are in complete agreement on this issue. For more than 30 years, I have been at the forefront of the international effort against Iran’s nuclear program,” Netanyahu wrote on X.

“Had it not been for this struggle, Iran would have obtained atomic bombs long ago to destroy Israel. Iran is working to destroy the Jewish state, and I am dedicating my life to preventing them from achieving that goal,” he added.

“As long as I am Prime Minister of Israel, that will not happen,” the Israeli leader concluded in his post.

The remarks come amid international reports suggesting the possibility of a preliminary agreement between the United States and Iran aimed at preventing further escalation of the conflict.
