Employees of the public company “Iber-Lepenc”, assisted by the Kosovo Police, carried out an operation in the Ujman area to reclaim property that the company claims has been unlawfully occupied.

During the operation, the “Jezero” motel was surrounded with security tape, while police officers and employees of the public company were present at the scene.

Veton Elshani, Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police for the northern region, confirmed that the Police were providing assistance to “Iber-Lepenc” and the relevant institutions, including the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure.

The operation was launched after the deadline set by “Iber-Lepenc” for the users of the facility to vacate the property had expired. The company had previously stated that the property was being used without authorization and requested its return under official management.

The action in the Ujman area comes as part of institutional efforts to protect public property and enforce relevant legal decisions.
