Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani, today met with the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires to Kosovo, Ms. Anu Prattipati.
The meeting focused on recent developments in Kosovo, the security situation in the country and the region, and the steps ahead for the formation of the government.
The conversation also centered around concrete engagements following recent visits to Kosovo, including those by NATO’s Secretary General, the EU Special Representative for Dialogue, U.S. military representatives, and the President of Latvia, who visited earlier today.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed the deepening of cooperation between Kosovo and the United States, in line with the goals set by President Donald Trump and his administration.
Osmani and Prattipati specifically discussed expanding economic cooperation and strengthening the defense partnership.
The meeting reaffirmed the importance of the close relationship between Kosovo and the U.S. and the commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
