To mark the 27th anniversary of Kosovo’s liberation, the Government in caretaker mandate and the Presidency will organize a series of commemorative events throughout the day.
The program begins at 09:00 with homage paid at the Adem Jashari Memorial Complex in Prekaz.
This will be followed in Pristina by commemorations at several sites: at the grave of former President Ibrahim Rugova at 10:30, at the grave of activist Adem Demaçi at 10:40, at the cemetery of fallen heroes at 10:50, and at the monument of Hero Zahir Pajaziti at 11:00.
As part of the observance, at 16:00 in the National Library “Pjetër Bogdani,” a photographic exhibition titled “KFOR and Kosovo 25+” will be opened, showcasing moments and evidence of KFOR’s engagement in Kosovo over the years.
