The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, said she spoke with Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, following reported attacks by Iran on Qatari territory.

In a statement shared on social media, Osmani strongly condemned the actions of the Iranian regime, describing them as a clear threat to regional peace, security, and stability.

“I spoke with His Highness Emir Tamim bin Hamad following Iran’s targeted attacks against Qatar,” Osmani wrote. “I strongly condemn the actions of the Iranian regime, which pose a clear threat to peace, security, and regional stability.”

She emphasized that Kosovo stands in unwavering solidarity with Qatar and its people, adding that the country fully supports Qatar’s right to defend its sovereignty.

Osmani also reaffirmed Kosovo’s commitment to regional stability and lasting peace, underlining the importance of international cooperation during periods of heightened tensions in the Middle East.

The conversation comes amid rising tensions in the region, with diplomatic reactions emerging from several countries following the reported attacks.
