Pleurat Sejdiu has been re-elected as the President of the Kosovo Medical Chamber (OMK).
Sejdiu competed against the Vice President of the Chamber, Naser Gjonbalaj.
Sejdiu received 96 votes, while his opponent Gjonbalaj received 26 votes.
Sejdiu thanked the Assembly members for their trust and for the cooperation so far.
Upon Sejdiu’s proposal, the Assembly approved Dr. Rrezart Halili, Dr. Lauras Idrizi, and Dr. Kreshnike Dedushi Hoti as Vice Presidents.
The Kosovo Medical Chamber represents the professional interests of doctors, oversees ethics and professional standards in healthcare, and cooperates with institutions for the development of the country’s healthcare system.
