Donald Trump, President of the United States, said that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin may be assisting Iran in defending itself from ongoing attacks by the United States and Israel.
His comments came after new intelligence reports suggested that Russia may have provided Iran with information that could help Tehran target American warships, aircraft, and other U.S. military assets in the region.
“I think he is helping them—just a little, I think,” Trump said. “And he probably thinks we are helping Ukraine, right? Yes, we are helping them too. So he says that, and China would say the same thing. It’s like, hey, they do it and we do it as well.”
