The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has thanked Prime Minister Albin Kurti for his invitation to a meeting, while emphasizing that it remains open to political communication and dialogue whenever it serves institutional stability and the country’s interests.

In a statement released on Friday, the party noted that under the current circumstances it is important to respect the ongoing institutional process, particularly as the Constitutional Court of Kosovo has issued an interim measure suspending the process of electing the president and any further actions by the Assembly in that regard.

PDK stated that it believes it is necessary to wait for the court’s final ruling, which is expected by March 31, as it will clarify the next institutional steps.

“The Democratic Party of Kosovo believes that respecting the decisions of the Constitutional Court and institutional procedures is the most responsible way to guarantee political and institutional stability in the country,” the statement said.
