The Government of Kosovo has approved the allocation of €500,000 to support Kosovo citizens affected by the security situation in the Middle East.
The decision was taken during an electronic government meeting held on Friday, where several financial and development-related measures were reviewed and approved.
According to the government statement, the funds were allocated following a request from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora. The financial support is intended to assist citizens of the Republic of Kosovo who have been impacted by the ongoing security developments in the Middle East.
“The Government of the Republic of Kosovo held an electronic meeting today during which it reviewed and approved the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora for the allocation of budget funds in the amount of €500,000 to support citizens of the Republic of Kosovo affected by the security situation in the Middle East,” the statement said.
The government did not provide additional details on how the funds will be distributed or how many citizens are expected to benefit from the assistance.
