At least four people were killed after Russia launched overnight missile and drone attacks on Ukraine, causing damage in several regions of the country.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the main target of the strikes was energy infrastructure near Kyiv, while residential buildings, schools and businesses were also damaged.
According to Ukrainian officials, the attack involved around 430 drones and 68 missiles and also targeted the regions of Sumy Oblast, Kharkiv Oblast, Dnipro and Mykolaiv Oblast. Most of the aerial threats were reportedly intercepted by Ukraine’s air defense systems.
