The Basic Court in Pristina has scheduled trial hearings against Grujica Veljoviq, who is accused of crimes against humanity.

The proceedings will take place in absentia, as Veljoviq has been unreachable for Kosovo’s judicial authorities.

The hearings are set for April 29 and 30, 2026, starting at 09:30 AM, in Courtroom D17, Palace of Justice, Hajvali, under the presiding judge Kushtrim Shyti.

The court has called on Veljoviq to present himself and surrender to the authorities of the Republic of Kosovo. It also urges anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact the Kosovo Police or competent authorities.

The indictment and official summons are published on the court’s website and in the Official Gazette of Kosovo.
