Acting President of Kosovo Albulena Haxhiu, referring to “the information available to me” regarding resigned judges, prosecutors, and administrative support staff, stated that “the vast majority of them have received and continue to receive financial support from Serbia in various forms, from 2017 until today.”
“Therefore, even while they were serving as prosecutors and judges, they were being paid by Serbia. The loyalty they demonstrated toward Serbia was also rewarded financially at a time when they were expected to exercise their mandates in the interest of citizens,” Haxhiu said.
She added that there are several cases, some of which are public, where former judges and prosecutors participated in various meetings in Serbia and Kosovo, during which plans were discussed and decisions were made regarding road blockades.
