As part of bilateral cooperation between Kosovo and Germany, Gafurr Dugolli, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense, and German Defense Attaché to Kosovo, Lieutenant Colonel Guido Altendorf, signed an agreement for the German “Enable & Enhance Initiative” donation project.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the project is worth approximately €3 million and aims to strengthen the operational capabilities of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) in support of fulfilling its mission.
“This project represents a continuation of the projects implemented to date במסגרת bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Federal Republic of Germany,” the ministry stated.
Following the signing of the agreement, Dugolli expressed his gratitude for Germany’s continued support for Kosovo, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in the fields of security and defense.
He also expressed confidence that cooperation between the two countries would continue through additional projects.
The meeting was also attended by Colonel Imer Avdiu, Director of the Department of Logistics and Infrastructure at the Ministry of Defense; Silke Bellmann, Chargée d’Affaires at the German Embassy in Kosovo; as well as representatives of NATO’s Advisory and Liaison Team (NALT), Lieutenant Colonel Fabian Vogl and Major Claus Schumm.
