Former OSCE Ambassador William Walker was received by Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti, with whom he said he had an interesting and productive meeting.
After the meeting, Walker said that Kosovo is a success story for the achievements it has made during 25 years of freedom.
“Good morning, I just had a meeting with Prime Minister Kurti for over an hour, and I have to say we had an interesting and productive meeting. I must say that this is not my usual dress code for meetings with prime ministers; I should have been in formal attire with a tie. Over the past two days, I had numerous meetings, and now I have my California-style attire. Kosovo is an extraordinary success for what it has achieved in 25 years. I am here as a friend of Kosovo and Prime Minister Kurti,” Walker declared to the media.
Yesterday, Kosovo marked the 25th anniversary of Liberation Day.
Kosovo’s capital, Pristina, was filled with members of the Security Force and members of the Kosovo Police.
Various units of the KSF and the police paraded in honor of the 25th anniversary of Kosovo’s Liberation Day.
Additionally, the Assembly held a solemn session.
