Kosovo held parliamentary elections today, the first regular elections since its declaration of independence in 2008.

The projection by Koha shows the Movement for Self-Determination (Vetëvendosje) as the winner with 42%, followed by PDK with 21%, LDK with 20%, and AAK-Nisma with 6%.

A total of 28 political entities and one independent candidate were in the race, as well as four candidates for Prime Minister: Albin Kurti from LVV, Bedri Hamza from PDK, Lumir Abdixhiku from LDK, and Ramush Haradinaj from the AAK-Nisma coalition and other partners.

Over 2 million citizens, both inside and outside of Kosovo, had the right to vote.
