The American Chamber of Commerce has expressed deep concern over the decision of the U.S. Embassy to suspend the strategic dialogue with Kosovo.
According to the Chamber, the suspension of this key initiative represents “a step backward for Kosovo’s economic and diplomatic aspirations.” It emphasized the need for the Government of Kosovo to adjust its approach and engage in closer coordination with the United States and international partners.
“The American Chamber of Commerce remains committed to advancing the partnership between the U.S. and Kosovo and calls on all political and non-political actors to act with responsibility and urgency to restore trust and dialogue,” the statement read.
The organization further stressed that only through constructive cooperation with its most trusted allies can Kosovo ensure stability, unlock economic opportunities, and secure long-term prosperity for its citizens.
