During her stay in New York, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met with the Secretary for Relations with States of the Holy See, Archbishop Paul Gallagher.
“Following the opening of our Mission in the Vatican, I emphasized our commitment to establishing even closer and more sustainable relations with the Holy See.
I also expressed my hope that, under the leadership of Pope Leo XIV, further steps will be taken toward the full recognition of Kosovo’s independence, and I reiterated the invitation for Pope Leo to visit Kosovo,” President Osmani stated.
